Sources have informed Nexstar’s WCMH that Jordan will be answering questions under oath about the Richard Strauss sex abuse scandal and will be deposed on Friday. Strauss was a former Ohio State University doctor who sexually abused, drugged, and raped at least XXX students over the course of XX years. An independent report found that he committed roughly XXXXX acts of sexual assault during that time, including XX rapes. The university has already agreed to pay out $XXXX million to XXX victims. Jordan, as well as former Ohio State Athletic Director Andy Geiger, are being deposed as part of civil lawsuits being brought against the university. “As everyone knows, Chairman Jordan never saw or heard of any abuse, and if he had, he would have dealt with it,” Jordan's spokesperson claimed. Former student-athlete Rocky Ratliff previously accused Jordan of having "turned a blind eye" to abuse allegations while Jordan was assistant coach for the university's wrestling team. "He's abandoned us for his own selfish reasons when he could have helped us. He's chosen not to," Ratliff said in 2023. "So that is not the good makings of any type of leadership or any type of leader that he would have put up with at Ohio State. It's just not. None of us wrestlers believe he should get that position." Four former wrestlers and a referee are on the record stating that they brought their complaints about the abuse to Jordan. His failure to take action is emblematic of the profound cowardice that has defined his entire political career. He has failed upwards in the Republican Party, a political movement that rewards men and women who are willing to sell out their morals for power.
