Since when did asking questions and demanding better service from the public sector, that we pay for, become unacceptable? We are living in an upside-down world where public servants act as though they are above the public they are meant to serve. Accountability has been replaced with arrogance, and performance with entitlement. I have two cases currently before the courts, and I expect they will serve as a much-needed wake-up call, a cold splash of water to a system that is long overdue for a reality check. By now, it couldn’t be more obvious that the government went too far—and in some cases, acted outright illegally. Yet they remain too arrogant to admit it, and too insulated to care. That needs to change. Because a system that protects itself instead of the public serves only one purpose: preserving its own power. We are living in an upside-down world where public servants act as though they are above the public they are meant to serve. Accountability has been replaced with arrogance, and performance with entitlement.
