@StevenF98725887 @HbarSuite XRP - no official announcement has been made. The plan is to have Smart Nodes multichain ready. 

Going multichain has always been the idea. To be able to scale Smart Nodes on multiple layers, just like Smart Contracts. However, the smart Nodes have more advantages.
