Arsenal confirm Noni Madueke has joined on a five-year contract. £48m+£4m fee.

Deal driven by Andrea Berta, with Mikel Arteta playing a key role, as he tends to in player pitches.

Arsenal have admired Madueke for some time and appreciate his power and versatility as a wide forward. Viewed as a strong profile fit.

In particular, Madueke's strong technical ability, one-vs-one success-rate, speed, strength and shooting stood out in data-driven analysis.

Arsenal view Madueke as capable of providing cover and ultimately competition to Bukayo Saka. #AFC also encouraged by the amount of games Madueke started for Chelsea.

Madueke already has strong relationships with several of Arsenal's squad, especially with fellow England internationals.🔴
