Larsen & Toubro (L&T) will invest ₹1,000 crore to upgrade its Katupalli shipbuilding complex near Chennai. Despite earlier clearances, the facility hasn’t met its production targets.

The investment will help unlock its full potential enabling annual output of XXXXXX tonnes, construction of XX ships and XX ship repairs boosting L&T’s shipbuilding capabilities significantly.
