At 11:23PM he snapped a photo from the bar. The photo looked innocent but in the background was the sailor with his arms around a gal looking exactly like a ceo at a Coldplay concert. Apparently someone in the OOWC (Offshore Oil Wives Club) saw it. And let me tell you: if GGFV are the world’s best HUMINT network, and the Yakuza is second, then the OOWC is a strong bronze medalist. They maybe third but to their credit the OOWC network moved faster than NSA fiber. His wife saw the photo BEFORE he left the club and committed the crime. Because of the time difference between North America and Asia we were pretty the divorce lawyer was notified BEFORE the carnal crime was even committed. This was truly Tom Cruise Minority Report level stuff. What happened to the sailor? He quit the next day and flew home said he was done with the oil patch, he was going to “confess to my maker and go work construction or something” and beg for his marriage back. We never saw him again and, I just looked, he still hasn’t created an account on facebook.
