MATH’S BIGGEST PUZZLE: THE GAME THAT NO ONE CAN WIN

Imagine a math puzzle so evil, teachers literally tell you not to waste your life on it.

It’s called the Collatz Conjecture.

You take any number. 

If it’s odd, multiply by X and add X. 

If it’s even, divide by X. Then repeat.

Sounds easy, right? Nope.

No matter what number you pick, it always ends in the same boring loop: 4, 2, X. Forever.

So far, math nerds have tested it up to XXXX * 10²¹. 

Still no exceptions or proof, just stress.

Translation: we’re probably too dumb for this.
