Just my opinion, but I think cutting CPB is TOTALLY political, as is cutting "the Late Show", and I wouldn't be surprised to see the June retail sales numbers get "adjusted" (lower).
Or is the Atlanta Fed clueless?  Or playing politics?  Or do they know something we don't know?
