Johnson was under tremendous pressure on Jeffrey Epstein from members of the Rules Committee. Rules members were tired of taking votes on Dem amendments on Epstein. Johnson and the committee drew up a resolution that they offered in rules. The resolution was non-binding. But it was meant to give committee members cover. But then the resolution didn't come up for a vote on the House floor. So now there are at least two more turns of the screw for Johnson on the Epstein story. People are going to ask him when the resolution is going to come up for a vote. And @RepThomasMassie's discharge petition is going to get XXX votes. So that will get a vote. The Epstein story is not going away for Johnson and House Republicans. And it's only a matter of time before the White House explodes over this. I want to focus on Johnson for a second and the Epstein situation.
