Cysic uses a unique Proof-of-Compute (PoC) system instead of traditional PoS or PoW.

Most of the networks rely only on staking (PoS) or computing power (PoW), @cysic_xyz combines both making a hybrid process called PoC.

To validate transactions in Cysic, you need to:

Stake $CYS tokens + Contribute computing power (measured as CG credits)

🧮How Validator Weight is Calculated:

1/3 stake + 2/3 computing contribution

Example:
You stake XXX $CYS → Stake-based weight = 1/3 × XXX = XXX

You contribute XXX CG credits → Compute-based weight = 2/3 × XXX = XXX

👉Total validator weight = XXX + XXX = XXX

💡 Why PoC?

✅ To avoid centralization, such as if a project purely depends on staking, then any proposal or decision can be controlled by a single Whales or group of whales.

✅ More weight is given to validators with good hardware, making the network more secure, faster and efficient.
