CBS News reporter Scott MacFarlane was there for the tragedy, and he’s haunted by the kind of trauma we just described. But not for a reason you may expect. “It wasn't the shooting, Chuck. This was – I got diagnosed with PTSD within XX hours. I got put on trauma leave, not because, I think, of the shooting, but because you saw it in the eyes, the reaction of the people,” he said in a Wednesday interview. “They were coming for us.
