Now that the Mbeumo deal is wrapped up, I really think our focus should shift to signing a new central midfielder. Yes, a striker is still on the agenda (Sesko is too good to be true) but if it were up to me, midfield takes priority.

Enzo Barrenechea felt like the perfect partner for Bruno, but that ship has sailed. I really rate Ardon Jashari  but he still feels a bit raw for the jump, and stylistically more of a long-term Bruno replacement than a partner.

So who does that leave us with? I’ve seen some people throw around Agoumé’s name (who I need to watch) but are there any other realistic options we should be looking at?
