Housing Starts Rebounded in June on Apartment Construction $PHM $DHI $XHB

New residential construction increased XXX% to an annualized rate of XXXX million homes last month, according to government figures.

The overall malaise in new-home construction is a sign builders are slowing their investment as they work to clear a new-home inventory that’s ballooned to a more than 17-year high.

Nationwide Senior Economist Ben Ayers said “there’s just not much room for much optimism in the second half of 2025” regarding the housing market.
