I paid ~$70 to claim my $ERA airdrop, this was outrageous

This is exactly the kind of problem that shows why Ethereum needs Succinct.

Thankfully, @SuccinctLabs introduced SP1-Contract-Call (SP1-CC), a powerful upgrade that extends Ethereum’s smart contract capabilities using zk-proofs.

Here’s what SP1-CC enables:
✅ Access to historical state, not just the current block

✅ Predictable, low gas for verification and off-chain proof generation.

✅ Trustless contract upgrades, even for immutable contracts

✅ No gas limit on computation

✅ Rich input data which includes historical state, multi-block events, and calldata

I know all these might sound a little bit too technical, I didn’t understand it all either but what got my attention was “low gas”

That’s why I believe Succinct’s SP1-CC can make ETH cheaper and faster by cutting down on on-chain computation and gas usage.
