Acko health insurance is undercutting every other insurer in the market

For a 65-year-old in Mumbai

Acko is offering insurance at half the rates of any other insurer.
Acko says it offers a low premium as it cuts down on intermediaries,

But in reality,
Premiums are low to acquire more and more customers,
Low premiums entice customers,

Over the coming years
As claims surge for the company,
The company will jack up the premiums very very fast,

On top of this,
No one has any understanding of how claims experience will be for customers,

Until now,
People have had a very mixed experience in Acko,

Some have had a good experience,
Some have had bad experience,

Overall,
Very hard to judge how the claims experience will be without 5-10 years of clear history

Customers need to be very, very careful when they choose any new insurer without any history.
