A dozen (mostly minority) applicants for teaching positions that were rejected for failing a basic (super easy) aptitude test were given millions of dollars in a settlement for being rejected so. Apparently it was racism because blacks failed the test at a higher rate. The real winner is the students who now get to be taught be teachers who couldn't spell "merit" if their life depended on it.
