SEC Chair Paul Atkins said the agency is weighing an “innovation exception” aimed at promoting asset tokenization. The move comes after the U.S. House passed a stablecoin bill and reflects efforts to support new trading models and infrastructure for tokenized securities within the existing regulatory framework.
