@melissa_marlatt @SNY_SAS @YieldMaxETFs Correct, you have to buy the trading day before ex dividend date which in most examples is the declaration day yes.

Remember on ex day the cash for the distribution is removed from the NAV so the fund will drop on ex day by the amount you will get paid plus or minus
