The Russian army has occupied Ukrainian territory the size of Luxembourg in just X months

According to Bild, since the beginning of 2025, Russia has occupied XXXXX km² of Ukrainian territory.
For comparison, the entire area of Luxembourg is XXXXX km².

In all of 2024, Russia captured XXXXX km² - meaning the pace of the offensive has increased this year.

Due to a lack of personnel, the Ukrainian command is assigning 5-10 people to defend small settlements, while Russian units of 20-50 soldiers are attacking them. Even if they lose half of their attackers killed or wounded, the rest reach their target and capture the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
