X. THE ANTI CBDC ACT

The Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act, passed by the House on July 17, 2025, bans the Federal Reserve from issuing a central bank digital currency (CBDC). 

Key Points:

➠ No Fed CBDC without Congress’s okay.

➠ Focuses on privacy, preventing government tracking of transactions.

➠ Backed by the crypto industry (e.g., Blockchain Association).

It’s now awaiting Senate consideration. 

Republicans, backed by the crypto industry, argue a CBDC threatens financial privacy.
