THE BITCOIN ACT

The Boosting Innovation, Technology, and Competitiveness through Optimized Investment Nationwide (BITCOIN) Act of 2024 (S.4912) is a bold proposal introduced in the Senate in July 2024.

It directs the U.S. Treasury to establish a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve to buy X million Bitcoin over X years and hold for a minimum of XX years.

X million BTC = X% of total supply.
At current prices (~$120,000 per BTC) that’s $XXX billion in sovereign reserves.
