The U.S. House and Senate passed a $9.4B rescissions package, cutting funds for USAID ($8.3B) and CPB ($1.1B), which supports NPR and PBS. Awaits Trump’s signature by July 18, 2025. 

NPR and PBS will not be fully defunded, but the will face significant budget reductions.
