Originally measuring about XXX meters, the ship was cut into two and extended by inserting a massive midsection. This modification increased its overall length to XXXXXX meters. Alongside the length extension, its deadweight tonnage rose from approximately XXXXXXX DWT to XXXXXXX DWT, making it the largest ship in the world by carrying capacity.
