First, granting Al-Sharaa any form of legitimacy before disarming all factions was a strategic failure. It has only emboldened jihadist ideology in Syria, which is now thriving unchecked.

So what exactly should Israel’s policy be toward the Druze? Stand by and watch them get slaughtered?

Expecting the Druze to disarm without a clear and enforceable protection framework is unrealistic and irresponsible.
