But TBH, most provers are still running off someone’s home server or a rented cloud GPU. Everyone talks scalability. Except it’s hard to trust that when there’s no industrial backbone behind it. You feel me? Which is probably why I got excited about the announcement Succinct made yesterday. They just onboarded @cysic_xyz into the Prover Network. Not only as a partner, but as a live prover, actively generating SP1 proofs using a dedicated GPU cluster. And this is the same Cysic that ran ZPrize and built FPGAs for zk hardware. They're also launching a custom ASIC prover by the end of the year. That ASIC is already designed to work with SP1 from the start. In practice, this means that: ❈ Succinct is building SP1 and attracting world-class hardware teams to run it. ❈ SP1 proofs can now be generated by machines optimized for speed, not improvised setups. ❈ The Prover Network is distributed and becoming a high-performance infrastructure. Succinct has always said the future of zk requires verifiability at scale. And scale only works when the hardware is built to carry the weight. Excited for Succinct Summerrrrr!!
