In classic socialism/communism any abolition of private property always happens in a forced and violent way.

Unless NYC leftists are willing to take the city by force and go full "red guard" on all the Wall Street and landlord class this dude is pushing a fantasy. 

I'm just glad I will never be within 1k miles from NYC.
