And then people wonder why all the TV shows and movies have gone to shit.

It's because corporations have TOS to avoid controversy and so the creators themselves self-censor.

Game Of Thrones one of the last popular shows in western entertainment went to shit precicely because activists hated the rape and incest scenes in them , like the one with Cersei and Jamie at their sons funeral which was supposed to highlight the depravity of the nobility.

And so they listened to the activists and the last seasons speak for themselves.
