West Ham United are closing in on the free agent signing of defender Kyle Walker-Peters.

The Athletic reported on Thursday that Besiktas had withdrawn their offer to sign the 28-year-old, saying the former Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur defender had asked to delay travelling to Istanbul to complete a medical.

The club have proposed a three-year deal for the full-back to remain in the Premier League with the option of a further year.
