I agree with several points that you're talking about, and I think there is some confusion on that I'm attempting to take a side or stance on something, rather than just pointing things out or laying them on a white board. I agree with what you wrote about the cobalt, and yes my only intention with it was to highlight that even when someone was made aware of X, they would still choose to do X (regardless of the reason, given the type of unreasonable people I felt I was responding to who claimed that any acknowledgement of any reason would be justifiable enough) My other view on things I've expressed elsewhere in that I think it's beneficial for forbidden people/things/etc to appear in places that are claimed they should not be allowed to appear, because I think (very long term) that slowly does cause butterfly effects. Ultimately the main thing I kept trying to express is that there are just different ways to go about complaining/attacking things, and yet it spiraled into people attempting to attack me for claims/beliefs I don't even harbor.
