How come hospitals like Nasser Hospital still have none? Usually when aid is stolen, one expects some of it to make its way to the market and be sold there. Why is baby formula still extremely difficult to find on the market? Nearly everyone in Gaza is saying that there is absolutely no food on the market. Community kitchens are stopping their essential work, unable to source ingredients or find anything to cook with. When they do manage to find some, it's extremely expensive (100 NIS or $XX for one kilo of flour). Even those with relatively steady incomes like journalists are going days without eating, so you can only imagine what it's like to those with no money. What is the plan here? How long are the people of Gaza supposed to wait until somebody truly understands how difficult life and survival has become in the Strip?
