Welcome to the first segment of the 10th and final chapter, The Book of Dawn, of the Humanode-inspired dystopian novel “2067”—The Equilibrium—written by the Humanode Media Team lead Shannon Higgins. 

Nearly thirty years from the Great Divide, and twenty-some-odd years to the Great Expanse, the world had been in an equilibrium.  

This delicate equilibrium between the systems of the old and the systems of the new had been shattered, at least in Japan, in the year 2067.  

Dawn, a highly intelligent teenager, had no specific goals in life, other than, perhaps, setting up the next round of games that he played and continuing with the project he set up to earn community credits.

But then September 15th happened, changing his life, and that of others, eternally.
