A short write up on what @hemi_xyz is really building before we continue from where we stopped.

Hemi is building a modular Layer-2 blockchain protocol that enhances scalability, security, and interoperability by integrating Bitcoin and Ethereum ecosystems. 

Its core innovation, the Hemi Virtual Machine (hVM), combines a full Bitcoin node with an Ethereum-compatible environment, enabling developers to create Bitcoin-aware, EVM-compatible decentralized applications (dApps).

 This allows for trustless Bitcoin staking, non-custodial BTC lending, and AI model marketplaces with Bitcoin-secured verification. 

Hemi’s “supernetwork” breaks down barriers between blockchains, leveraging Bitcoin’s proof-of-work security and Ethereum’s programmability to foster a unified, efficient, and secure Web3 ecosystem.
