The project comprises two interconnected segments that jointly define its transformative scope: the A8 Section, a 174.90-kilometre stretch from Rironi to Mau Summit, and the A8 South Section, a 56.38-kilometre connector from Rironi to Naivasha via Mai Mahiu. The A8 Section serves as a vital artery for freight, passenger, and commercial transport across the Rift Valley and onward to Western Kenya and the region.
