Consoles may not define a game. But they do define the industry. A duopoly is something you do not want. Things will only get worse. 

There is a reason why the fifth sixth, and seventh generation of gaming is looked up upon so much. And that’s because of the amount of choices and games we had. Everything is at its best when there’s competition. And we as the consumer win from that. Unfortunately, that might be something of the past.
