Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has announced that he will approve the EU’s 18th package of sanctions against Russia on July XX.

Slovakia had previously blocked the sanctions, with Bratislava stating it would continue to do so until concerns were addressed over the country’s removal from the European Commission’s plan to fully ban Russian gas imports by 2027.
