I’ve been diving deep into what Portal is building, and this is more than just another crypto project it’s a full-on movement for true, decentralized peer-to-peer finance. Portal isn’t just handing out tokens they’re rewarding time, belief, and participation in building the Bitcoin ecosystem from the ground up. It’s rare to see a project value user time as a first-class asset. That’s why it stung a bit when I got kicked off the leaderboard recently. No warning, no clear explanation. Just gone. It’s confusing, and I’ve raised some concerns because I know I’m not the only one who’s experienced this. Transparency and fair participation are key and I really hope this gets addressed soon. But here’s the thing: I’m still here. Still supporting. Because Portal’s vision is too important to walk away from. Portal Swaps are something else entirely. Unlike typical DEXs, they allow peer-to-peer, cross-chain swaps with no bridges, no wrapped tokens, and no custodians. Everything is done through atomic swaps meaning you keep control of your keys and coins at all times. This is what DeFi was supposed to be: XXX% custody-preserving Borderless and permissionless Native Bitcoin and native altcoins not synthetic garbage Trust minimized, not marketing-maximized This isn’t DeFi theater this is the real thing. So yeah, even with the leaderboard issue, I’m sticking around. Portaltobitcoin is building something we all need and I’m here for the long run.
