If UK really goes ahead and lowers the voting age to 16, it’s a bold and progressive move. 👀

At 16, people can work, pay taxes, and even join the army in some cases so why not let them vote too? 🇬🇧🗳️ Giving young people a say in shaping their future makes sense, especially in an era where politics deeply affects education, climate, and tech policy.

But it’s also a double-edged sword. Maturity levels vary, and some may argue 16-year-olds lack real-world experience. Still, with proper civic education, it could energize democracy with fresh voices and new perspectives.

Let’s see if UK leads the way others might follow.
