An OG Bitcoin whale just made a major move:

• XXXXXX $BTC (worth $4.83B)
• Destination: Galaxy Digital
• Source: A wallet untouched since 2013

This was the second half of an XXXXXX BTC stash moved in full now.

These coins were mined over a decade ago, then sat still.

Last week, the first 40K $BTC were moved to a new wallet. Now, all of it has landed with Galaxy.

Galaxy Digital hasn’t commented, but the move suggests one of two things:

→ Custody for institutional clients
→ OTC deal involving a legendary long-term holder

Either way, $4.8B in legacy $BTC just entered the modern financial system. 👀
