Certain accounts are currently spreading reports about assassination strikes by the Israeli Air Force as well as an ongoing coup attempt in the Syrian capital of Damascus, while also claiming that President al-Sharaa and his family have fled the city. This is entirely untrue, there is no coup currently taking place and there have been no strikes tonight against Damascus.
