President Trump says he is going to sue The Wall Street Journal, NewsCorp, and Rupert Murdoch for the Jeffrey Epstein story they just published.

The president says that Murdoch promised to “take care of it,” but Murdoch has a history of not interfering in the WSJ’s editorial decisions.*

Famously, when Elizabeth Holmes asked him to shut down the WSJ’s reporting on Theranos, Murdoch, despite having invested $XXX million in Theranos, refused.

*Murdoch doesn’t interfere in the WSJ’s editorial decisions but does take a strong hand with the opinion pages of his news publications and, more broadly, with papers like the New York Post.
