Their parents bodies, Reece and Paula Zunker, were found last week. Paula and Reece Zunker along with their two littles reside in Kerrville, where Reece teaches and coaches, but were vacationing at the river house in Hunt along with Paula’s mom, Lucy. The house is on the river between Camp La Junta and Camp Mystic. Lucy has been rescued but we have not been able to find or get ahold of the Reece and his family. A family member, Wes Zunker, shared the news on social media, writing: “We are joyful that their bodies have all been found and can be laid to rest, yet we feel absolute sorrow that they are gone from this earth. We grieve the time lost with them — the words not spoken — the would-haves and should-haves and what-ifs. SAD UPDATE 💔
The Family of X are finally reunited in Heaven 💔🕊
The bodies of Holland Zunker, 3, and Lyle Zunker, 7, have been found.
