I was back in Melbourne in 2017 visiting the family, and I caught up with a friend for a coffee. He knew I was interested in finance, and he tells me: "Dude, there's this really interesting asset called Bitcoin". He went on a little further, and I literally laughed him off, and said it's clearly a pure scam. I thought he was an idiot being conned. Well, we know who the idiot was!
