Posts like these pop up sometimes as hot takes, and almost always are aimed at propping a specific driver. But when you dig with any depth, this list is very refutable, incorrect in several instances, and misleading in others.

I’ll go season by season in the comments, but suffice to say… as goes with many of these “statistical breakdowns”, the methodology and context matters.

As we all know, the BEST car over a season may not be the same car that you can twist stats into calling the “fastest”. That much is obvious to everyone.
