🚨🇺🇸 JUDGE RULES TRUMP’S FIRING OF FTC COMMISSIONER WAS ILLEGAL

A federal judge has ruled that Trump’s removal of FTC Commissioner Rebecca Slaughter earlier this year violated federal law.

Judge Loren AliKhan found the firing broke legal protections meant to shield independent agency officials from political dismissal.

Slaughter, a Democrat and longtime critic of Big Tech, was ousted during Trump’s reshuffle of key regulatory bodies.

The court’s decision could set a major precedent on the limits of presidential power over independent agencies.
