Don't believe all the self claimed medical experts who are saying the Venous insufficiency President Trump has recently been diagnosed with, proves that he has a heart problem. If you read up on that condition you'll see heart problems are never mentioned as cause of the condition. It doesn't have to do with the flow of blood from the heart but instead is caused by the veins in the legs not working properly.
Those veins have special valves in them to stop the backflow of blood so blood in the veins can only move toward the heart. When the veins get weakened or the valves are damaged then the blood won't leave the legs like it should, causing swelling, some pain, and skin changes.
Causes of the condition can include older age, sedentary life style, obesity, and genetics.
