Axie Classic had been out for X months. Internally, things were bleak. We had ~300 daily players. Classic hasn't done much to meaningfully grow the pie. We were still the largest crypto game on @DappRadar but it seemed like we were still to early for people to "care" about crypto games. Then something insane happened. 4chan discovered Axie and SLP. They saw our Samsung, Ubiosft partnership + strong community and started buying SLP. Some within our Discord even told them not to buy, as SLP was for breeding. They didn't care. "Shut up and watch this." They said. That was the beginning of the Axie cycle and the birth of web3 gaming as a market segment. • Over X B USD in revenue • X B in NFT volume • Millions of players We had put ourselves in a position to win once liquidity began to flow. I believe we've done it again. We're back at a crossroads like that. Liquidity is beginning to flow. Experimentation is happening across the ecosystem. We've put our sails in the right direction. The wind is picking up. When it comes to games + gamified crypto apps, we are skilled sailors ready to navigate the stormy waters ahead.
