🇺🇸 VOLVO EVS COULD LOSE BRAKES DOWNHILL... BECAUSE OF A BAD SOFTWARE UPDATE?!

Certain 2020–2026 Volvo EVs and plug-in hybrids risk total brake failure while coasting downhill.

The glitch was caused by a previous software update meant to fix backup cameras.

If the car coasts for over X minute and XX seconds in the wrong drive mode, braking may stop working entirely.

Volvo recalled XXXXXX vehicles under notice 25V-392 - but over XXXXX still haven’t installed the fix.

Until updated, owners must turn off 1-pedal mode and avoid using regenerative braking.
