"History will be made this October as Lagos plays host to what is being hailed as the Igbo Celebration of the Century, a grand cultural and intellectual gathering aimed at honouring the XXX Greatest Igbo Personalities of all time. The landmark event is billed to take place at the prestigious Villa Angellia Hotels, Ikoyi, Lagos State, on October XX and 18, 2025, drawing together the brightest stars of Igbo heritage from across Nigeria and the global diaspora." - Val Igwebuike
ANAMBRA is too small to host the ceremony whereas many of the people to be honoured are from that Anambra
ENUGU is not suitable.
IPOB is gyrating all over IMO.
The weather in ABUJA is not conducive. The Abokis won't even allow them so much freedom.
EBONYI is a land too full of "Hausa slaves", they are not truly Ibos.
ABIA is too dirty so it can't project the right image that they want to send.
They may have considered using their newly acquired kingdom in GHANA but for the recent misunderstanding with the "naughty" Ghanian youths.
It has to be in LAGOS, their permanent No Man's Land where they can drag anything.
They will bring all their Masquerades and Ezra.
And I can imagine some of our Obas will go there "in the spirit of National Integration to felicitate with them"
