🚨 XRPL DEV ALERT
RippleX is pushing for order in the MPT frontier with draft standard XLS‑0089d.
Every Multi‑Purpose Token (MPT) would now include:
✅ Ticker (currency)
✅ Name (name)
✅ Asset class (asset_class)
➕ Optional icon, description, links & subclass info

Why it matters:
MPTs (wrapped assets, RWAs, gaming tokens, memes) currently use unstructured JSON. That breaks:
– Search
– Display
– UX across wallets, explorers, DEXs

This new schema = discoverable, rankable, safe to integrate.

RippleX’s proposal:
• On‑ledger metadata (max 1024 bytes)
• Optional URI for richer off‑chain data
• Voluntary—but SDKs will warn if metadata is missing
