AESC is not blacklisted — they’re not Chinese-owned, but Japanese (formerly Nissan).

Envision AESC has active IRA legal counsel and is working with the DOE to clarify status.

Other IRA-eligible companies (e.g. Hanwha Qcells) went through similar delays and resumed with guidance.

More importantly:

Fluence is not betting its supply chain on any single supplier. AESC is just one leg of a multi-supplier, modular, stackable setup.
